Knoxville Food Trucks take over city block

People enjoy food from local food trucks on Union Avenue for "The Food Truck Block Party". Special thanks to John Black Photography for the picture.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The corner of Union Avenue and Walnut Street were lined with delicious food from area food trucks for the monthly 'Food Truck Block Party'.

The Daylight Building on Union Avenue hosted the event by closing down the street and welcoming Bull's BBQ Food Truck, Tootsie Truck, Good Golly Tamale, Hoof Knoxville, Savory and Sweet, and Three Bears Coffee Co.

This is only the second time for the block party but it's become a fun tradition that organizers say they hope to continue the third Thursday of every month!

While you're enjoying the food, make sure to check out some of the specialty stores along Union Avenue.
