KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Nearly all flights are on time at McGhee Tyson. One 5:30 a.m. United flight was delayed for an hour.

If your flight is delayed, how to get in touch with your airline, or what's on the menu for lunch, Knoxville's McGhee Tyson Airport has the answer. Just in time for holiday travel, the airport released a new app for iPhone and iPad users

“For 75 years, McGhee Tyson Airport has served the East Tennessee traveling public with a focus on providing quality customer service,” said Howard Vogel, Chairman of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority’s Board of Commissioners. “In a time when lines are longer and more people are traveling by air, the airport’s new app can save our guests precious time – time that can be better spent with family and friends.”

The iPhone app features current flight information; airline contact numbers and websites; parking rates; food and beverage options; and directions to McGhee Tyson Airport.

To download the free app, visit Apple’s iTunes App Store anytime, anywhere. It’s that simple.
