KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A 29 year-old Knoxville woman was killed when the truck she was in collided head on with a BMW convertible on Lovell Rd. late Tuesday afternoon, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
THP reports indicate Krista Thomasson was riding with two other people when the BMW 358I crossed over the center line and hit their Dodge pickup near Yarnell Dr.
Both the driver of the truck and the other passenger Jeffrey Darago and Sierra Sullivan were injured in the wreck, as was the driver of the BMW, Jamea Gambrell.
Reports were unclear if either Yarnell or Darago had drugs or alcohol in their systems, but have ordered tests
Criminal charges are expected.
