KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, don't forget the Tennessee Valley Fair is still going on.
This is the fair's last weekend, and Saturday is Tailgate Day. If you show up wearing UT or Florida colors, you'll get $2 off your ticket price.
Organizers say there's live music and events on Saturday and Sunday, including country artist Sawyer Brown at 8:00 tonight.
Of course, you can't forget about all the rides, food and live stock shows.
"We've had an amazing fair, due in part with the wonderful weather, so we're just excited to welcome everybody out for the last two days. We're open tonight, Saturday, until midnight and then we're open on Sunday until midnight," said Sarah Thompson, spokesperson for the Tennessee Valley Fair.
Sunday is Hometown Heroes Day. Police, fire fighters, military, EMT workers, nurses and teachers all get in for just a dollar, with a portion of the ticket sales going to the Honor Air Program.
