KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Knoxville man has been arrested after a burglary at a gun store that hadn't even opened yet.
It was Thanksgiving and police say Zachary Aaron Long, of Knoxville, admitted to purchasing items needed to facilitate the burglary and then committing the burglary to the business. Long has been charged with one count of Burglary and one count of Felony Theft.
Officers have not released an more information on the crime and say the investigation does continue.
Around 2:49 a.m. November 28th, Knoxville Police responded to an alarm call at Guardian Armory at 207 N. Seven Oaks Drive near Kingston Pk. Officers arrived at the scene and discovered the front glass window of the business had been broken.
Police say 27 guns had been taken from the store and have not released if those have been recovered or not.
