KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A family is ripped off by burglars who kicked in the door of their home. Now those two men are behind bars -- and the family credits their son's spirit with helping bust them.
Thieves broke in and took electronics from a South Knoxville family earlier this week.
But the family got them back, and Cecilia Josey says she believes her son's spirit helped bring back something that could never be replaced.
Seven year-old Jacob Reagan passed away last year after battling cancer for most of his life. Cecilia Josey says, "He had leukemia and had been battling since 15 months old."
His mom believes he's still with her -- now, more than ever. On Tuesday burglars kicked in her door, stole all her electronics and took the one that means the most: Her laptop.
"It broke my heart because that's the only pics of my son that I have," Josey says.
She never thought she'd see Jacob's pictures again, but hours after the crime, Loudon Police spotted a broken down car with the electronics inside and arrested two men.
She believes Jacob helped crack the case.
"A detective called and said if that was your boy he's cute. I knew right then and there he was the reason they got caught," Josey says.
The suspects will face aggravated burglary charges.
