KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Y-12 Security officers caught a man riding his bike on a patrol road at the plant. It happened just after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Officers said the man did not enter the high security area of the plant, but crossed a fence clearly marked no trespassing. He was detained and the case was turned over to the Oak Ridge Police Department.
Y-12 then entered an elevated state of security, with extensive canine patrols checking the area. No other trespassers were found.
