Maryville man dies in overnight wreck

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Blount County Sheriff's investigators worked an overnight, deadly wreck in Maryville.

A release from the Sheriff's office says that 23-year-old Dustin Tyler Owners was killed when his Ford pick-up truck ran off the road and struck a tree. He was then ejected from the truck and the truck rolled over and landed on top of him. This was around the intersection of Middlesettlements Road and Old Glory Road.

Owens was the only one involved in the wreck. He was not wearing a seat-belt.
