Mobile home fire sends 1 to hospital

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A mobile home went up in flames Sunday morning about 9:30 a.m. on the 600 block of Kian Court.

The Blount County Fire Department responded to the blaze.

The residents woke up to the sound of a fire alarm and successfully got outside without major injury.

A man was transported to Blount County Hospital with smoke inhalation, and he is expected to be fine.

Firefighters believe the fire started in the living room.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
