KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - With Christmas just two weeks away, shipping giants like FedEx say Monday will be their busiest day of the year.
FedEx plans to move 19 million packages Monday, more than 200 packages a second. 300 thousand employees will be on hand for the record setting day.
FedEx expects business to be up more than 10 percent from last year.
If you plan to join the rush, there are some important dates to know.
The final day's for Christmas delivery are as follows:
-December 17th for FedEx Ground
-December 22nd for FedEx Overnight
-December 25th for FedEx Same Day Service
Final dates for the U.S. Postal Service include:
-December 14th for Ground Shipping
-December 22nd for Express Shipping
