MORRISTOWN, Tenn.(WVLT)--JTEKT Automotive is looking to hire workers for its Morristown facility.
JTEKT makes power steering components for the Nissan Murano.
The plant is undergoing a 50 million dollar expansion and it needs more people.
Sue Beswick of Bean Station is ecstatic over the announcement.
"I think it would be a great boost to the economy here with all the businesses that have shut down and people are hurting. We certainly need that encouragement here."
JTEKT says continued recovery of the auto market has led to its growth. It employs 670 people.
