KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- More mosquito spraying is planned for East Tennessee Thursday evening.
The Knox County Health Department said another lab report came back confirming West Nile Virus might be in the area (another recent area sprayed was East Knox County).
Residents can expect to see signs in the areas they live if spraying is going on in their areas.
It's recommended you stay inside with your pets between 9:00pm and midnight during the spraying.
KCHD will have crews spraying in these areas:
Cherry Street
Magnolia Avenue
Beaman Street
South of I-40
Lakeside
Kirkwood Street
American Avenue
A follow-up spraying is planned in a couple of weeks, on September 22nd.
If it rains, the spraying will be re-scheduled.
