Weather Alert: Strong to severe storms are expected tonight
MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Officials in Maryville were forced to evacuate Foothills Mall in Maryville for about 45 minutes on Friday morning following a bomb threat at the Movie Theatre at Foothills Mall.
Shoppers and employees were asked to leave the mall around 10:15 a.m. while a search was conducted, according to Blount Co. officials.
Shortly after 11:00 a.m., the all clear was given and everyone was allowed back in the mall.
