Neighbors spot flames shooting from abandoned home

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville firefighters responded to a late night fire at an abandoned East Knoxville home on Wednesday.

According to KFD reports, neighbors spotted flames shooting through the front window and called 911 around 11:00 p.m. No one was injured as emergency crews battled to contain the blaze.

Arson investigators said there was no power connected to home, 2413 Wilson Ave., and the fire appears to have been deliberate. They still haven't determined why it was set though.
