PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Cheddar's in Pigeon Forge is now open and providing new jobs for people in the area.
The new cheddar's opened with a ribbon cutting on Monday and plans to hire nearly 200 employees. The company says they've been looking to move into the pigeon forge area for a while.
"I think we're going to continue to do what we've always done," said Steve Pottinger with Cheddar's "We're going to provide scratch food in a nice big beautiful building with a great staff, this amazing staff we found here in Pigeon Forge."
Then Pottinger says they found a great location and now seemed to be the right time.
