Oak Ridge principal relieved of duties

OAK RIDGE, Tn.(WVLT)--The longtime principal of Willow Brook Elementary has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Local 8 News spoke to school board chairperson, Keys Fillauer Tuesday night.
He said Mardee Miller has been removed as principal of the school.
Miller has been at Willow Brook for 7 years.
Superintendant Tom Bailey said the school needed a change in leadership.
No word on why they relieved Miller of her duties.
Susan Armstrong of the central office will take over as principal until they fill the position.
