Old Gray Cemetery comes alive in Downtown Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Old Gray Cemetery was established in 1850. They are located in Downtown Knoxville one mile north of the World's Fair Park at 543 North Broadway. It is a non-profit cemetery that is listed on the national historic register. Many notable Knoxvillians are buried at this 13 acre site. This year the focus for the Tour is on Knoxville during the Civil War.

It is the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War (and the battle of Fort Sanders - November 29, 1863). In it's 13th year, actors will reenacted several "ghosts" connected with the cemetery. This is a family event and everyone can find an interest - even a free hotdog and lemonade!

No reservations are necessary. Parking available at neighboring parking lots.

Entrance ticket: $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Carriage ride additional fee of $5.00
