SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities have identified the 30 year-old Knoxville woman who died in an early morning wreck in Seymour on Tuesday.
Andrea Trotter was killed after her Jeep Wrangler went off the side of Boyds Creek Highway shortly after 4:00 a.m., according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).
THP reports indicate she was heading south toward Chapman Highway when her SUV crossed the center line and went off the left side of the road. The Jeep went down an embankment and struck a tree. After hitting the tree, it continued through a field and burst into flames.
Firefighters with the Seymour Volunteer Fire Dept. said the the vehicle was fully engulfed by the time they arrived.
Reports also indicated that Trotter had been drinking.
