KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police have arrested one person in connection with a deadly hit-and-run at an East Knoxville intersection Monday night.
Scott E. Wilson was charged with one count of Vehicular Homicide, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Failure to Provide Financial Responsibility.
The 34 year-old Knoxville man stand is accused of killing Ramazani Mtambala late Monday night. Police said the 55 year-old was dead by the time first responders reached him at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd. and Olive Street shortly before midnight.
Wilson was arrested late Tuesday morning at his girlfriend's home. His 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood was found about a block away
