PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Pigeon Forge business is back open three years after a fire shut it down.
In February 2009, the "Old Time Pottery Barn" caught fire, but the sprinklers saved the building.
That's why the store is back in its old location on Teaster Lane in the former Belz Factory Outlet Mall.
Today was the official grand re-opening for the shop that's been around for more than two decades.
The 90,000 square foot store opens in time for the summer season, and should be a boost for the area's economy.
"We're definitely proud to be back in Pigeon Forge. It's been along time coming. We've had to overcome a lot of obstacles, and now we're back," said Mark Nelms, the store's manager.
The store has already hired workers, but the plan is to employ around 100.
