Crimetracker: Police looking for home invader

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Maryville police are hunting for a man tied to a break in and assault at an apartment Wednesday.

Police reported to the Maplewood Apartments around 8 p.m. Tuesday night after a neighbor heard yelling next door where his 70-year-old neighbor lives alone.

Police found a broken door and a pull of blood when they arrived. The elderly man told them he was beat, and the intruder tried to bind his wrists with duct tape.

The man managed to flee with an unknown amount of prescription drugs.

Police say they're looking for a large white male last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, ski mask, jeans and brown shoes.

Anyone with information can call the Maryville Police Department.
