Police search for van involved in hit and run

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- The hunt is on for whoever struck two pedestrians in North Knoxville Sunday night.

KPD tells us three men were walking with a dog along Whittle Springs Road near Coker Avenue around 7:45. Someone driving a white van went off the road and hit two of the men.

Both men were taken to hospital with serious injuries, but are expected to recover.

A witness says the van may have had wood strapped to it's top.

If you have any information call police.
