Update: suspect wanted in deadly hit-and-run turns himself in

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Knoxville Police say Deandra Lamont Brinson, 22, a suspect in a deadly East Knoxville hit-and-run turned himself into authorities Saturday.

KPD say 22-year-old Brinson is wanted for questioning in the May 12th crash on Castle Street that left Justin Walker dead.

Investigators think Brinson was hurt in the crash and could have suffered several different types of injuries: head trauma, chest and abdomen trauma, and lower leg trauma.

Brinson's last known address was 2411 Selma Avenue in Knoxville.
He's described as a black man, with brown hair, brown eyes. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weights 172 pounds.
