Police identify victim in Hayes Road shooting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.(WVLT) -- Authorities identified the man wounded in a shooting in north Knoxville Tuesday night.

A Knoxville Police Department spokesperson said officers responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting at a home in the 4300-block of Hayes Road around 8:20 p.m.and found Brandon Dickey wounded in the arm.

The 23 year-old told investigators he got into an argument with two black men up the street, 4315 Hayes Road, when he was shot. The victim then ran to a neighbor's home where he knocked on the door to get someone to call 911.

Police are still continuing to investigate.
