KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- One Powell teen is dead after he struck two vehicles on his motorcycle Saturday morning.
Dreyson Stewart, 19, was travelling westbound on East Emory Road in Knoxville near the Halbrook subdivision on a curve. A car in front of him, driven by 45-year-old Sylvan Shamblin, had stopped for traffic ahead due to a funeral procession.
Stewart hit Shamblin in the rear and slid under her Dodge pickup truck.
A Toyota Highlander, driven by Christopher Pearsall, then rear ended Shamblin.
Neither Shamblin nor Pearsall were injured, and each wore a seatbelt. Stewart had his helmet on.
No alcohol was involved in the incident, and no criminal charges were filed.
