Push for black pets to get homes in Union County

UNION COUNTY, Tenn (WVLT) -- You can adopt a black cat, dog, kitten or puppy at a reduced rate through May 31, 2012 at the Union County Humane Society.

It's a promotion called Back in Black.

The shelter is cutting adoption fees in half.

The shelter is located at 719 Hickory Star Road in Maynardville.

They are open from 10-4pm Monday - Saturday.
