MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - (UPDATE 4/5/13) The City of Maryville is allowing people to return to the Foothills Crossing Apartments after water samples came back good.
The City also stated a contractor made repairs and brought sewer service back to the buildings closest to the Home Depot and Highway 129.
The remaining building is expected to get sewer service back tomorrow.
For restroom service, the City says it will ask the Red Cross to bring in a portable toilet.
People living at the Foothills Crossing Apartments in Maryville are having to wait even longer before they can go back inside their homes.
Sewer repairs stopped Thursday because of the rain.
And the city says it tested the water as a precautionary measure and the results take 24 hours.
All 36 units at the complex were evacuated Thursday because a possible water contamination.
