LOUDON, Tenn. (WVLT) - Hundreds headed to Loudon today for the "Ribfest 4 Homes."
It's a fundraiser all about some good ribs and helping out "Habitat for Humanity."
More than 15 teams cooked up their best slab of ribs to be judged before a panel. One of those judges was Local 8's Chief Meteorologist David Aldrich.
A total of five hundred people showed up and Ribfest raised more than $18,000.
So, where does that money go? The donations from the past three years helped build two homes families in need in Loudon County.
The event was hosted by the Church of the Resurrection in Loudon.
