Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) --- Rural Metro is a vote away from continuing on as Knox County's EMS provider.
According to a spokesperson for Mayor Tim Burchett, an evaluation committee has recommended Rural Metro over two other companies.
Voting on the renewal should take place at the County Commission's meeting next month.
