KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An SUV crossed four lanes of traffic and a grass median before crashing into a light pole.
According to Knoxville Police, it started when the driver of a 2004 Lincoln Navigator pulled out of Arby's parking lot in the 5200 block of Clinton Highway around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The driver then drove across all four lanes of Clinton Highway, including the grass median, and smashed into a light pole in the Krystal parking lot.
Police said a child was a passenger in the SUV, but was not hurt. The driver was taken to Fort Sanders for minor injuries.
The crash does not appear to be drug or alcohol related, according to police.
