KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A new elementary school in southwest Knox county is set to open for the 2013-1014 school year. The school is under construction on Thunderhead Road, just off Northshore Drive near Pellissippi Parkway.
Meetings begin Tuesday night to discuss a rezoning proposal prepared by Knox County Schools. Parents of the students affected by the rezoning are invited to offer their comments at these meetings.
