SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities in Sevier County have issued a ban on all open air burning effective immediately.
Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals says the with recent high heat and the low humidity fire risk is at it highest.
This ban does not effect the use of fireworks as long as they are used in a safe manner.
The ban will stay in effect until the weather conditions improve.
