KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Seymour woman was killed in a single vehicle crash in South Knox County on Saturday afternoon.
According to a Knox County Sheriff's release, Leslie Slingluff of Seymour was driving a white Chevy Silverado when she lost control, hit a tree and flipped over. Terry Tomlinson, 54, was killed on impact in the accident that happened at 3:30 pm on 7822 Sevierville Pike.
At the time of the accident, Slingluff was not wearing a seat belt, but Tomlinson was wearing her seat belt. Slingluff was transported to UT Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. Tomlinson was pronounced dead on the scene.
