NEWPORT, Tenn. (AP) -- Cocke County authorities say they nabbed a burglary suspect when he came back for more.
Deputies were at a home that had been burglarized over Thanksgiving when they spotted 38-year-old Luis Rafael Rodriguez Ortiz and a pursuit began.
Sheriff Armando Fontes said Ortiz took expensive Princess Diana dolls, oil paintings, a bronze statue and other valuables from a home. Fontez said deputies later found goods stolen from the house.
The sheriff said it appeared Ortiz realized the value of the items after he broke into the home. The stash was valued at about $30,000.
Ortiz remained in jail Tuesday morning. It wasn't clear whether he yet had an attorney.
