KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Knoxville police say a driver's request to people in the street to move...lead to shots being fired at the driver's Ford Taurus.
It happened just before 7 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Washington Pike and Whittle Springs Road. The driver came across a group of six people blocking traffic. The driver then asked the group to stop blocking traffic.
Instead, investigators say someone in the group fired off at least three rounds...with one striking the car's tire.
No one was hurt, and the group ran off before police got there.
