PIGEON FORGE, Tenn, (WVLT) -- It's that time of year again, when the Christmas shows begin to crank up in Sevier County. But one show is promising to be unlike anything this area has ever seen.
A bit of Nashville's grand is now in the smokies, combine the two and you've got Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry.
"We're ramping it up this year, we have ice skating in this show. We're actually got people from Italy that are coming and will skate," says Kevin Griffin, with the Smoky Mountain Opry. "Owners David Fee and Jimmy Headrick came up with the concept of Christmas at the Smoky Mountain Opry they just have such an imagination, they're like giant kids and put their imagination on stage."
They also have they largest live nativity with real camels and sheep.
The Smoky Mountain Opry is located at traffic light "zero" in Pigeon Forge. The show runs through December 31st.
