CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT)- What was supposed to be a weekend of fun for some country music fans is turning out to be a sad song.
According to the Super Twang festival's website, there's no sign of trouble.
But we're getting reports that the festival has been canceled a day early.
One attendee tells us the event, off Norris Lake, in Campbell County was abruptly shutdown.
While the Tennessee Highway Patrol, who is working traffic control there, says fans have left early, and the lights and equipment have been broken down.
Despite the fact the schedule says the tunes should keep playing, there's nothing but silence.
If we learn any more, we'll let you know.
Messages left for the promoter have not been returned.
