KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities arrested one man following an armed robbery at the Family Dollar, 4022 Chapman Hwy., early Thursday afternoon, according to the Knoxville Police Dept.
Witnesses identified the suspect as Micah Hunley.
Reports indicate that shortly before 1:00 p.m. the 28 year-old was standing in line at the check-out. When the cashier opened the drawer, Hunley swung around with a gun in his hand and crabbed cash from the drawer.
He then ran out the front door and got into a blue Subaru station wagon.
Two officers found him shortly thereafter at a nearby residence.
