Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tax experts said due to late congressional legislation, your refund may be delayed. Refunds are being returned later than they have in prior years. Preparers said it's taking an average of 8-15 days before your check is cut. For some, the longest wait is 21 days. Experts say don't panic.
