Teen parents get a helping hand

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Initiative held its Annual Teaching Teens Outstanding Parenting Skills Conference Tuesday to offer education, support, resources for teen parents.

The event was held at the Sara Simpson Center and offered four rotations including a room filled with vendors offering information for both moms and dads.

Other focuses included everything from breastfeeding to car seats to healthy relationships for mom and dad. There was even a special workshop just for the guys.
