Tennessee Valley Fair rides being set up and tested inside Chilhowee Park

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) Rides and attractions are being set up on the midway inside Chilhowee Park as another year of the Tennessee Valley Fair draws closer.

Trucks can be seen pulling in and unhooking rides and attractions, as workers are busy sweating and putting the roller coasters together, piece by piece, in preparation for this year's Fun on the Farm themed event.

Most midway rides will arrive Tuesday, but a couple arrived a day early and are slowly being brought back to life as they are pulled off the trucks they came in on.

This year's fair begins Friday, September 6th, and goes through the 15th.
