KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A third person was arrested in connection with a New Year's Day bakery truck explosion, the Knoxville Police Dept. said on Tuesday.
Nineteen year-old Brad Paul Jones was arrested without incident near the Quality Bakery in Lonsdale around 11:00 a.m.
Jones was booked into the Knox Co. Detention Center, say what charges he will face.
Stacey Ann Michelle Foringer and a teenager were arrested last week for blowing up the truck. The blast caught two other trucks and the bakery on fire, causing more than $35,000 of damage.
"They were taking like M80s - firecrackers - and then putting them in cans. I don't know what type of cans they were because they were exploded. But they were taking those devices - which is basically like a small bomb," said DJ Corcoran, with the Knoxville Fire Department.
According to the warrant, they "did it for fun."
