JEFFERSON CO., Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Department of Transportation will close lanes on a section of Interstate-40, through Jefferson County.
The work will take place on I-40 East, between Mile Markers 417 and 420, starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
TDOT warns drivers to be alert for lane closures until 6 a.m. Wednesday, as crews perform roadway repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution traveling in this area.
