EAST KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - One business in east Knoxville has a big mess to clean up after a truck crashed in to the Ken-Jo market on Strawberry Plains Pike around 8:30 Sunday night.
The truck drove into a concrete wall, and appears to have cracked it.
Store windows were also smashed.
Knoxville Police told Local 8 News that a clerk working inside the store at the time was hurt, but his injuries are not serious, and he wasn't taken to the hospital.
Investigators say they think the truck had some sort of transmission malfunction.
It does not look like the driver will face any charges.
