SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Sevier County Deputies have arrested two people in Seymour following complains by neighbors of foul odors coming from a home.
According to arrest warrants, Jesse Scott Parton and Tracy Smith were arrested on January 11, 2014. Deputies say they they went into the home on Jackson Avenue and found several items known to be used for the manufacture of illegal substances. Deputies say some evidence was found in the fire place in an attempt to destroy them.
Parton and Smith are charged with tampering with evidence and initiation to manufacture meth and promotion of meth. They are expected back in court in February.
