Two-car wreck shuts down Tazewell Pike

Knoxville (WVLT) - Emergency responders shut down Tazwell Pike while they cleaned up a two-car collision Saturday evening.

The crash happened near Beverly Road. Crews on scene say two people were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

Emergency officials said Tazwell Pike would be blocked for several hours.

No word on injuries or the victims' identities.
