On Saturday, the UT Police Department received a report that an assault occurred on Ann Baker Furrow Boulevard in Sorority Village at approximately around 1 a.m.

A woman reported she was grabbed from behind by an unknown suspect outside a sorority house. The victim kicked the suspect and was able to free herself and ran into her sorority house.

The victim, a UT student, received minor injuries from being grabbed. The victim did not see the suspect again and could not advise a direction of travel.

The victim said the suspect was male, possibly white. He was wearing a ski mask, dark-colored clothing, possibly navy blue or black sweatpants, and was six feet tall with a slim build.

UTPD will continue to investigate.
