KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- The University of Tennessee Knoxville is competing in a national App contest on workplace safety and health and you can help them win.
Fun and sometimes bizarre good-luck and bad-luck scenarios are part of a probability game created by two University of Tennessee, Knoxville, students.
It's to teach youngsters about workplace safety.
An app based on the game is one of 20 finalists in a national competition vying to win the People's Choice Award and its $3,000 prize.
Community members are invited to vote and help the UT Construction Industry Research and Policy Center and the UT Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering win the challenge, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor.
Voting is now underway, ending Jan. 4, 2013.
