SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Veterans Administration has told local officials they're set to open a clinic in Sevierville.
According to The Mountain Press, the treatment center is being prepared in the bottom of the old Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. The county offered to lease the space for $1 a year, the paper reported.
The VA has twice previously advertised for a local home but said it found nothing suitable.
