Vacant building catches fire in Pigeon Forge

Pigeon Forge Firefighters are trying to figure out how a kitchen where no one stayed caught fire.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) --- Pigeon Forge Firefighters are trying to figure out how a kitchen where no one stayed caught fire.

Firefighters were called to the Oakmont Resort on Veterans Boulevard around noon. Firefighters say they arrived to find a small kitchen fire in an unoccupied building. The building is being renovated.

Investigators say they are looking at evidence to see how the fire started. There was no major damage.
